Who is an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph?

Associates are men and women, married and single, who desire to share in the Sisters' charism and spirituality without becoming vowed members. 

What type of commitment does an Associate make?

After a period of exploration and orientation, an Associate makes a commitment which is renewed annually. 
This commitment invites the Associate into a deeper relationship with God and to the "dear neighbor". They support one another in spiritual growth and commit to live the charism, spirituality and mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph both in their personal lives and in their ministries.

What are the expectations of an Associate?

Associates attend monthly meetings during which they learn about the Sisters of St. Joseph and participate in spiritual, educational and social events of the community whenever possible. They grow spiritually with one another and with the Sisters.

How do I become an Associate?

Interested persons meet with the Associate director and are invited to an initial meeting. After a period of preparation, a request is made for a formal commitment.
